After you click above "Google Maps" link, in the window that opens, click the "send" button in the top right of the open window then choose the device you wish to send location data to.

Please note that some browsers will download above Google Earth files as a .ZIP file. You will then have to locate the downloaded file in your computer and then extract the file(s) so you can double click to open in Google Earth.

Other browsers will ask if you want to open .KMZ file with Google Earth (which is the best way to go if you do get that option).

Safari downloads to a zip.
Firefox asks if you want to open in Google Earth.
